UFOs in California

UFOs are continuously reported throughout the state of California. There have been sightings reported in Northern California in cities such as Sacramento and San Francisco. There is even an alleged UFO and alien base located inside of Shasta Mountain.

Southern California has had its fair share of sightings as well and it is also rumored that there is a secret underwater UFO base off the coast.

When it comes to Central California, Fresno emerges as a UFO hot spot. In fact, Fresno is part of what is known as the Nevada Triangle which covers part of Nevada and California including the notorious Area 51.

Interested in learning more? If you happen to live in California, I suggest you check out MUFON. It has various locations in California where you can attend meetings, report UFO sightings and get the latest UFO news.

California Ghosts

Rich in history, there are many ghosts in California. Take the California Gold Rush. Many ghosts can be found near the area where gold was discovered in Coloma, located outside of Sacramento including the Vineyard House and the Man Lee and Wah Hop Stores.

San Francisco has numerous haunted locations. One of the best known is Alcatraz Island, a former prison. Another is China Town. Both locations offer ghost tours. A historic location in central California is that of Calico Ghost Town which is said to have its fair share of spirits.

There is also the well known haunted Toys R Us in Sunnyvale. Even the sleepy little town of Coalinga has its own ghost which hangs around the town's museum. Visiting San Juan Capistrano? Look for the ghost of a friar.

Southern California also has more than enough ghosts to keep ghost enthusiasts busy. From the haunted Hollywood Forever Cemetery to the Whaley House in San Diego, along with the Queen Mary in Long Beach which features paranormal and ghosts tours, there are many ghosts to be found in the Golden State.

Learn How to be Psychic in California

Interested in developing your psychic abilities? The state of California is a hot bed for paranormal activity. With its many historical sites, there are numerous opportunities to learn and practice the psychic art of psychometry. This is when a person can hold an object in their hand or touch a building and receive psychic images.
From Old Sacramento, to the historical buildings of San Francisco, haunted Hollywood locations and numerous San Diego ghostly locations, there are many places in which to practice psychometry. The first step in to find a historical building. Don’t do any research in advance. You want your mind to be clear of any information.
The next step is to close your eyes, take some deep, cleansing breaths and place your hands on the building. Pay attention to any thoughts or images that come to mind. Being that what you are touching is historical, check with the locals to find out if what you are experiencing is real. Odds are, if you are getting something from the location, then it is real, such as images of something that has occurred in the past.
Psychometry is a great way to help develop psychic skills and with all of the historical and haunted locations in California, it’s a great way to help develop your intuition.

Ghosts of Calico Ghost Town

Located in Yermo, California outside of Barstow, Calico is said to be haunted by many spirits including those of children. This ghost town got its start in 1881. During its mining days over $20 million of silver was found. Today, visitors can see the restored buildings, take a mine tour or learn the history of the town on the train ride.
Many people have experienced odd sensations while visiting. Some have even caught glimpses of ghosts out of the corner of their eyes. Dark shadow people have also been spotted. At one time ghost walks were conducted on Friday and Saturday nights headed by Bill Cook. Cook no longer offers this service. However, if interested in finding out more about the local ghosts of Calico, Cook has a book available entitled The Ghostly Guide to Calico Ghost Town.

Bigfoot in California and the China Flat Museum

Humboldt County is known for Bigfoot sightings. So much so that the town of Willow Creek, known as the Gateway to Bigfoot Country, has its own Bigfoot display at the China Flat Museum. Nicknamed the Bigfoot Museum, items included are an assortment of footprint casts, along with pictures and articles concerning the big guy. The museum is located off Highway 299.
At the time of this writing, the latest Bigfoot sighting took place in early June, 2011 when a couple spotted him along the Klamath River. Don’t forget to bring a camera along to try to capture Bigfoot on film. Although not proven to exist, there is much evidence to suggest this cryptid does exist including multiple sightings throughout the state of California.
