Bigfoot in California and the China Flat Museum

Humboldt County is known for Bigfoot sightings. So much so that the town of Willow Creek, known as the Gateway to Bigfoot Country, has its own Bigfoot display at the China Flat Museum. Nicknamed the Bigfoot Museum, items included are an assortment of footprint casts, along with pictures and articles concerning the big guy. The museum is located off Highway 299.
At the time of this writing, the latest Bigfoot sighting took place in early June, 2011 when a couple spotted him along the Klamath River. Don’t forget to bring a camera along to try to capture Bigfoot on film. Although not proven to exist, there is much evidence to suggest this cryptid does exist including multiple sightings throughout the state of California.
